"I was delighted to hear that I had been nominated in the competition."
“The
Golden Scissors Awards has been a great project to work on. There are
over 40 hairdressers in Sligo and they are all busy. The competition
has made me realise just how important hairdressers are to people. I
have learned so much about the world of hairdressing.
It is getting very exciting now. People in town are really into it –
they are all talking about it. I can’t wait to find out who the
winners are. It will be a tough decision because the standards are all
so high.”
“I am thrilled to be on the judging panel for the Golden Scissors Awards.
It is a fantastic opportunity for hairdressers in Sligo town to tell people what they are all about, and for clients to express their gratitude to excellent stylists who go out of their way to make people feel good.
When I heard about it I wanted to compete myself.
It is very interesting to see why clients come to you. It highlights the huge role hairdressing plays in the community.
Through this competition hairdressers can make sure their business is streamlined. The Golden Scissors Awards keeps them on their toes. It will improve their businesses in the long run.”
