Because: "I represented Anthony's Salon Two for the World OMC Championships in Moscow in 2006 and also the European Championships. I was astonished at his talent and skills of working under pressure and also more importantly to represent the country in one of the most competitive and prestigious competitions that I have ever had the opportunity to be involved in! Anthony is one of the most talented and charismatic people I know. Even with all his achievements he still runs a fabulous business in Sligo catering for everyone. I travel from Belfast to Sligo every four weeks just for the privilege of Anthony to cut my hair. Finally while away with Anthony I found that his most prized possession was his scissors pouch. I never knew that this even existed. Therefore, I know that Anthony deserves the Golden Scissors award."
